1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using SponsorTank (ā€œthe Serviceā€), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including sports clubs and sponsors.

2. The Service

SponsorTank provides a platform that connects grassroots sports clubs in Ireland with local businesses seeking sponsorship opportunities. We facilitate introductions and enquiries but are not a party to any sponsorship agreement between a club and a sponsor.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.
  • You may not create more than one account per organisation without our prior consent.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Club accounts

  • You represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of the club.
  • Listing your club on SponsorTank is free of charge during the current launch period.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your club profile and sponsorship listings.
  • You must not list sponsorship opportunities you do not have the authority to offer.

5. Sponsor accounts

  • You represent that you are authorised to act on behalf of your company.
  • Enquiries submitted to clubs are binding expressions of interest.
  • You must not submit spam or fraudulent enquiries.

6. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Harvest, scrape, or collect data from the platform without our written permission.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Circumvent any technical measures we use to enforce these terms.

7. Intellectual property

SponsorTank and its logos, design, and software are owned by us and protected by copyright. You retain ownership of content you post (club profiles, images, descriptions) but grant us a non-exclusive licence to display it on the platform and in marketing materials.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided ā€œas isā€ without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that clubs will find sponsors or that sponsors will find suitable clubs. We are not liable for any sponsorship agreements, disputes, or outcomes arising from introductions made through the platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will give you at least 14 days' notice of material changes by email or via the platform. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
